Gendering

Gendering was originally performed for the i^3 festival in Chicago over the Leap Year weekend, Feb. 29 - Mar. 2, 2008. This piece incorporated an installation comprised of gender-specific toys which were altered to reflect both genders. During the performance, I colored in both a fairy and a fire truck coloring book and encouraged viewers to interact with me.
