A Library of Self consisted of a small reading nook in the stairwell of Webster University’s studio art building in 2001. A simple rug defined the space while a student desk (later substituted with a chair) sat in the sun from the windowsill. A bookcase containing nine small box collages leaned against one wall. The box collages each represented a relationship or emotional state from my life.
