Dutch Elm Disease was installed as part of Art Saint Louis’ Forces of Nature exhibition in 2007. In this piece, fabric leaves were arranged on the floor around a void where the trunk would have once been. "Help" was hand-written on each leaf in permanent marker. This piece was created in part to mourn the death of my own tree.
