| Much of my artwork reflects upon the nature of the world I live in. Some of these pieces respond directly to the environment around me and try to engage the viewer in it in new and different ways. Others incorporate a Midwestern aesthetic in assemblages that act as studies in how dark, crowded, forgotten spaces like cellars and attics are organized. Just how do people arrange the spaces that they don't want to be seen, and just how do those spaces arrange themselves? |
