Some of my artworks explore personal hardships and triumphs as subjects unto themselves. I often use my art to formulate and articulate my perception of myself in order to better understand my relationships with others. In doing so, I have created numerous self-portraits, including both traditional depictions in drawing and painting and more conceptual pieces incorporating detritus from my life and art.
